成績上位の生徒のでは、食事中にバラエティ番組をみない。これは半年に一回の面談で必ず親に確認してるから間違いない。この時間にちゃんと会話をしている。テレビ批判かというとそういうわけじゃなく、「コミュニケーションを大事にしてる」ってことだ。ただ構えばコミュニケーションになるわけじゃない。重要なのはタイミングとメッセージだ。
良い母親は子供の邪魔をしないことを前提に考えている、子供を優先して考えている。だから、子どもの前で家族の会話よりバラエティ番組を優先するようなアホなことはしない。
そもそも自分が一日中のんきにバラエティ番組とかワイドショーとか見ながら子供に「勉強しろ」とか真顔で言える神経を疑う。こういうダブスタを子どもに見せるのは厳禁である。大人同士ならお互いの事情を考慮してスルーしたりできるが、子供はスルーできない。こういう「うそつき」母親からは子供は必ず離れていく。
